Self Assessment – Affected by #COVID19 – Defer your July payment – #coronavirus

New HMRC guidance explains how Self Assessment customers who have been affected by #coronavirus can defer their payment on account that would normally be due in July.

For those who need to defer, remember to cancel any direct debits set up to make this payment.

HMRC will automatically treat it as a deferral if they do not receive the payment on account by 31 July.

The payment can be deferred until 31 January 2021.
