The HMRC Software Developers Support Team have issued revised RTI RIM artefacts for 2021-22 version 1.0 in the technical pack on GOV.UK, along with a document showing the changes between 2020-21 and 2021-22. A further update, to incorporate the Data Items Guide (DIG) for 2021-22, will follow.
The RTI techpack is available at
HMRC are planning on updating the Local Test Service (LTS) on 1 October, and TPVS/ETS on 12 October 2020 to allow software developers to test in preparation for the 2021/2022 tax year.
The Data Provisioning Service (DPS) technical pack will also be updated shortly.
The changes?
Very little in reality, adjustments to applicable dates and labels for the tax year.

So there is the new Scottish Student Loan as it separates from the current Plan 1 to be a new Plan 4.
No proposals yet for new NIC category for veterans, maybe in April 2022.
And changes for Off-Payroll workers are already present in the 2020-2021 specifications even though some elements were delayed until April 2021 (for private sector).

And the EPS sees the removal of the de minimus state aid values which were originally in and then changed to reporting nothing.
