According to HMRC, the quickest and easiest way to renew via the free to use HMRC app or online – and no need to call HMRC or use a third party agent.
📱 The HMRC app is available on iOS and Android devices.
To use this service, you’ll need to sign in using your Government Gateway user ID and password.
Signing in also activates your personal tax account – you can use this to check and manage your HMRC records.
