I have received no ferlow from my employer g&j engineering Cardiff and have been without money for a month my employer is saying it hasn’t come through?
Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing to require how forloug has been set for 44 hours per week
Could you please provide me with any information how part time furlough is set for shifts 4on 4off
44 hours per week.
Your sincerely,
Luis Garofalo.
Hi Luis, your employer was required to undertake a calculation based on actual working in the past. So two elements, reference salary and usual hours. Furlough is based on these two elements minus actual hours worked. So for the claim period the employer will have the usual hours from an actual historic position, minus actual hours worked.
My employer had never issued payslips or P60.
Is there any way to find out if he had received furlough payments for me which he didn’t pass on to me while I was unable to work as I drive a disabled child school transport and the schools were shut due to the pandemic.
Hi,
I’m pretty sure my employer was claiming furlough but still making me work!
How do I find out?
My employer received furlough money but kept it and never paid me he did this for 6 of his company’s can I claim it back ftom him
Hi Steven, sorry to hear of your difficulties. It is unlawful for your employer to have claimed support and not paid it to relevant employees.
Furlough fraud can be reported at https://www.gov.uk/report-tax-fraud
With regards to claiming of the employer, suggest it may be good to speak with ACAS and obtain advice.
