
The online Annual Tax Summary shows how much tax and National Insurance contributions someone has paid and how Government spends it.
Individuals can find the summary by signing into their personal tax account using the Government Gateway User ID and Password that y used to enrol for Self Assessment online, selecting Self Assessment and then selecting ‘find out how your tax is spent’.
For Business Tax Account holders, select Self Assessment and then ‘more details about your Self Assessment returns and payments’ and then select ‘find out how your tax is spent’.
Tax summaries are for information only so there’s no need to take any further action.
