Money 19th December the government have announced that the Spring Budget will take place on 15th Match 2022.
The Treasury have opened their Spring Budget representations portal where you can have your say. The portal will close at 5pm 1 February 2023.

Will there be significant payroll changes for April 2023 announced in the planned March spring budget.
If there is then it will be too late for an April implementation as payrolls will already have started calculations into the new year. In prior years when late changes are announced it has been common practice for changes to be applied in May and then backdated.
Or will payroll change be left alone with only future impacting plans announced?
Payroll software developers have most of the details for an April 2023 change point with the exception of any announcement relating to Pensions Auto-Enrolment thresholds.
