➡️126,000 added claims were submitted through the scheme making 435,000
➡️That’s a further 1,000,000 employees making a total of 3,200,000 employees reported as furloughed
➡️At a added value of £1,150,000,000 making a total of £3,200,000,000.

Update to midnight 21st April 2020
➡️124,000 added claims were submitted through the scheme making 309,000
➡️That’s a further 900,000 employees making a total of 2,200,000 employees reported as furloughed
➡️At a added value of £1,100,000,000 making a total of £2,600,000,000.

The Job Retention Scheme launched at 8am on 20 April 2020 (the service was opened a little time before) and by midnight the result showed:
➡️185,000 claims were submitted through the scheme
➡️That’s a total of 1,300,000 employees reported as furloughed.
➡️At a value of £1,500,000,000
