Today, 26th May 2020, the UK government’s Coronavirus Statutory Sick Pay Claim Back Scheme has launched online. If you’re a business with fewer than 250 employees who has paid SSP due to coronavirus related incapacity to work, you can now start to make you claim.
For those who have had employees absent due to #COVID19 #coronavirus, or been instructed to self isolate or shield, the first 2 weeks of SSP payments are full recoverable. Other sickness absence SSP is funded by the employer without reclaim.
