Kickstart registrations for interested employers to be opened in August 2020

Over 700,000 people are leaving education this year. Many more are starting out in their careers. Under 25s are two and a half times as likely to work in a sector that has been closed by COVID.

The Chancellor (Rishi Sunak) or has stated that ‘We cannot lose this generation and that’s why we’ve launched the Kickstart Scheme’. Six months’ wages for new jobs created for 16-24 year olds will be paid; subject to eligibility and individual circumstances.
