HMRC has been contacted ‘concerning some employers believing there was a 31 August deadline for making CJRS claims for July (up to 31 July)’.
HMRC ‘confirm there are no imminent deadlines. The only deadlines imposed were around the change from CJRS1 to the CJRS Flex (or CJRS 2)’
The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme team at HMRC states
‘We can confirm there is no deadline at the moment but there will be drop dead date for CRJS claims up to the 31 October but that has not yet been finalised. The only deadline that we have had for claims is for the period ending 30 June – so to end CJRS1 before we moved into flex’
