
UK employers have until 10th June 2020 to furlough employees to take part in the UK Job Retention Scheme. You cannot add additional employees to the Scheme later.
For employers who have furloughed employees between 1st March and 30th June for a continuous period of at least 21 consecutive calendar days, you can claim a grant from the UK government covering 80% of earnings.
To claim the grant applications must be made by at least 31st July 2020, else no grant is available and you cannot take part in the new fully flexible furlough scheme that is available from 1st July 2020.
