EU, EEA or Swiss citizens, and family members resident in the UK by 31st December 2020, now have less than 50 days to apply to the EU #SettlementScheme to continue to reside, work, and access benefits in the UK after 30th June 2021.
The EEA includes the EU countries and also Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
You and your family can apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30th June 2021. You can also apply if you’re the family member of an eligible person of Northern Ireland.
If your application is successful, you’ll get either settled or pre-settled status.
From 1st July 2021, when applying for a new job you will need to be able to show that you have a right to work in the U.K.
